Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief.
The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation.
Averse: The state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, two-line
inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ". From the right and left side of the
denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the
circumference there is the legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫҚ БАНКI" (National
Bank of Kazakhstan).
Reverse: an image of star of insignia "Parasat" on the central part,
"ПАРАСАТ ОРДЕНІ" in Kazakh language and «ОРДЕН ПАРАСАТ» in Russian
language along circumference. Figure "2009" indicates the year of
coinage.
